 Stone types

The rocks are formed  that form the earth's crust and have no specific shape or chemical composition but a mixture of two or more. Minerals. The stones from which the stones are obtained can be classified into the following three groups

1. Geological classification:

Geologically, rocks are classified into three types.

A. Igneous rocks:

Igneous rocks are formed due to the solidity of the placement of molten mass below or above the earth's surface. It has a crystal gloss or attached texture.

B. Sedimentary  rocks:

Materials such as sand, clay, etc. are gradually formed by sedimentary rocks deposited through water. These are also called stratified. These rocks are formed in layers. Limestone and sandstone are included in this style.

C. Metamorphic rock:

metamorphic rocks are formed due to changes in the original structure under heat and excessive pressure. Example of metaphorical rock is marble.

2. Physical classification: Physically, the rock is classified as follows

A. Stratified  Rocks:

Stratified rocks display individual layers that can be separated. Limestone, slate and sandstone are examples of straightened rocks

B. Unstrified Rocks:

Unstructured rocks  are those which do not show any sign of strata and cannot be easily split into slabs.. Granite and marble are examples of unexplored rocks.

3 Chemical Classification: Chemically, rocks are classified as follows

A. Silicious Rocks:

Silicious rocks contain silica as the main material. Examples of granite, quartzite, genus silish stone

B. Argillaceous  Rocks:

Argilaceous  rocks contain clay or alumina as the main material. Slate, laterite, kaolin are examples of rational rocks.

C. Calcareous rocks:

Calcareous rocks contain lime or calcium carbonate as the main component. Examples of limestone and marble calcareous rocks.
